As a seasoned Talent Management and HR leader with more than 35 years of experience, Cindy’s focus is on coaching and developing leaders, helping them navigate complexity, strengthen their leadership impact, and lead with intention.
She’s led teams across the full talent lifecycle—including talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, employee engagement and change management—partnering closely with operational leaders to align people strategies with business priorities.
During major enterprise change, she led company-wide communication and change management efforts supporting performance management, total rewards, procurement, and payroll. This included building an in-house, cross-functional change management capability; streamlining HR communications across Centers of Excellence and business partners; and creating a centralized employee communication channel that improved clarity, access, and trust.
She played a key role on the organizational development and talent team during the Continental–United merger and later led corporate training and development. Highlights include designing and implementing Leading at United for frontline leaders with direct reports and consolidating multiple performance management processes into a single framework serving more than 5,000 leaders.
A defining focus of her career has been frontline leader development. She believes supervisors and managers shape the employee experience. She spent decades coaching leaders to build confidence, capability, and clarity—especially during change.

Maria previously served as Chief Learning Officer at United Airlines, where she led enterprise
talent strategy and built the learning infrastructure that enabled United to hire and develop 50,000 employees in five years. Her work advanced safety and operational excellence, launched the United Leadership and Technology Institutes, implemented a modern AI-driven
learning ecosystem, and created Aviate, the industry’s leading pilot pipeline program.
Before joining United, Maria built multi-million-dollar innovation and leadership portfolios at Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and Penn State’s Smeal College of Business, and led global learning solutions at Raytheon Professional Services. Her experience spans aerospace and defense, financial services, manufacturing, retail, energy, government, and higher education.

Bob has been coaching and advising senior and C-Level executives with career transitions and leadership development for over 12 years, with over 6000 hours of coaching. His work focuses on several areas, including CEOs who are new in role,

While Bob is a certified coach, he is often called upon to provide advice based on his corporate experience.
